Howdy! I am a UX designer based Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, open to new opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills as a designer. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction & User Experience at Drexel University.
I recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Digital Narrative & Interactive Design (DNID), which explores the convergence of storytelling, visual design, and technology within the realm of digital media. Through my studies in the DNID program, computer science, and sociology, I bring a blend of creativity, technological expertise, and human behavior and social dynamics insights to my work.
I believe that design has the power to unite people and improve lives, and I aspire to create meaningful experiences that bring simplicity and happiness to others.
My logo is my name written in Baybayin, an ancient script from the Philippines, where my heritage originates. It is read vertically as "ji-ze" using modernized characters. I drew the logo myself :)

Growing up, I had the privilege to travel to different countries, which exposed me to numerous beautiful cultures. When possible, I learned the language of each country to better immerse myself. My target language is 한국어 (Korean), and I minored in Korean studies during undergrad, as well.

I hobby hop pretty often, but I've been enjoying making little yarn gifts for family, friends, and myself for the past four years. I even wrote my own pattern for a coelacanth (which I know only from Animal Crossing), pictured on the left!

During university, I participated in a student entertainment artists club as a member, leader, mentor, and Vice President over four years. I sang solo performances and sang and danced with fellow members. I have yet to perform outside of college, but I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to do so in the future :)

One of my favorite mediums of storytelling is photography. I practiced black and white film photography in high school but haven't gotten around to it again (since I'm used to developing my own film, too); nowadays I practice using digital.
