Howdy! I am a UX designer based Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, open to new opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills as a designer. I recently received my Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction & User Experience at Drexel University, where I became a more confident, thoughtful, and resilient designer while strengthening my ability to lead end-to-end UX work, conduct meaningful user research, and translate insights into impactful, user-centered solutions.
I also graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Digital Narrative & Interactive Design (DNID), which explores the convergence of storytelling, visual design, and technology within the realm of digital media. Through my studies in the DNID program, computer science, and sociology, I bring a blend of creativity, technological expertise, and human behavior and social dynamics insights to my work.
I believe that design has the power to unite people and improve lives, and I aspire to create meaningful experiences that bring simplicity and happiness to others.
My logo is my name written in Baybayin, an ancient script from the Philippines, where my heritage originates. It is read vertically as "ji-ze" using modernized characters and is handwritten by me.

During higher ed, I performed on stage through a student entertainment artists club, taking on roles as a member, leader, mentor, and Vice President. I sang, danced, and collaborated on performances with fellow members at both the University of Pittsburgh and Drexel University. I have not performed outside of school just yet, but I would not pass up the opportunity to do so in the future :)

Although I hobby hop pretty often, I've mostly been enjoying making little yarn gifts for family, friends, and myself for the past six years. I even wrote my own pattern for a coelacanth (inspired by the Animal Crossing games), pictured on the left!

Growing up, I had the privilege to travel to different countries, which exposed me to numerous beautiful cultures. When possible, I learned the language of each country to better immerse myself. My target language is 한국어 (Korean), and I minored in Korean studies during undergrad, as well.
